CGY-AI Page Builder
Build safe custom HTML through chat, restore earlier drafts, control hero imagery and placement, preview every revision, and publish only after administrator approval.

STEP 1
Add the module and confirm its Custom Pages dependency.
- Upload the release ZIP with CGY-Uploader or extract
cgy-ai-pageunderprotected/modules. - Enable HumHub’s official Custom Pages module.
- Enable CGY-AI Page Builder and open Configure.

STEP 2
Connect a compatible provider without exposing its secret to the browser.
- Open API Settings.
- Choose a model or enter a custom provider model ID.
- Enter the HTTPS chat-completions endpoint and API key.
- Review the Additional Builder Instructions and save.
YCP tipA server environment variable named CGY_AI_PAGE_API_KEY is safer than storing the key in HumHub settings.

STEP 3
Give the assistant the content, audience, style, and actions it needs.
- Open Page Builder.
- Describe the page title, sections, colors, links, and calls to action.
- Select Generate or refine page.
- Continue chatting to revise the current draft instead of starting over.
YCP tipSuccessful drafts are saved in administrator-specific Chat History for later editing.

STEP 4
Control the managed hero and choose where HumHub exposes the page.
- Paste, upload, or drag in a hero background image.
- Adjust image opacity, overlay color, and overlay opacity.
- Choose global or Space placement, visibility, icon, URL shortcut, and sort order.
- Use the icon dropdown preview before publishing.
YCP tipThe managed image controls are the single source of truth, preventing duplicate hero backgrounds.

STEP 5
Inspect the complete result before any data is published.
- Edit the generated HTML directly when needed.
- Select Refresh preview.
- Check desktop and mobile layout, contrast, spelling, and every destination link.
- Confirm the title and navigation label are concise.
YCP tipScripts, forms, iframes, event handlers, and unsafe URLs are removed before preview and publishing.

STEP 6
Publish only after the draft and placement are correct.
- Select Create this page using CGY-AI now?.
- Confirm the matching prompt.
- Use the success link to view the Custom Page.
- Restore the conversation from Chat History later to update the same published page.
YCP tipChat never publishes automatically; the final administrator confirmation is always required.
