CGY-Share
Collect new standard Posts from user profiles, selected Spaces, or every Space, then deliver a guest-visible public copy or a HumHub native share reference into one Main Space.

STEP 1
Decide whether the Main Space receives a public copy or HumHub’s native share reference.
- Use Guest-visible public copy for a public landing-page feed.
- Use HumHub native share reference only when viewers can access the original source.
- Install Share content only when using native-share mode.
YCP tipPublic-copy mode is recommended when guests must read the Main Space without access to the original profile or Space.

STEP 2
Upload the module with its lowercase technical folder intact.
- Extract the CGY-Share ZIP.
- Upload
cgy-sharetoprotected/modules/. - Enable CGY-Share under Administration → Modules.
- Open Configure.
YCP tipDo not rename the folder or place it inside another version-named directory.

STEP 3
Choose the single Space that receives every eligible source post.
- Open the Automation tab.
- Choose the destination under Main Space.
- For public-copy mode, make sure the destination is visible to guests.
YCP tipThe Main Space is automatically excluded as a source to prevent sharing loops.

STEP 4
Select every standard HumHub location that should feed the Main Space.
- Enable profile posts when user walls should be included.
- Select specific source Spaces or enable every current and future Space.
- Keep Block private posts enabled unless private source content is intentionally republished.
- Enable automation and save.
YCP tipTurning off Block private posts can make private or members-only source posts public in public-copy mode.

STEP 5
Verify the complete path using a normal member account.
- Create a new public profile post if profile sources are enabled.
- Create a new post in an enabled Space if Space sources are enabled.
- Open the Main Space and confirm each entry appears.
- Confirm a post from a disabled source is skipped.
YCP tipOnly new posts created after activation are handled; older content is not backfilled.

STEP 6
Check eligibility and permissions before changing code.
- Confirm automation and at least one source mode are enabled.
- Confirm the source Space is selected or every-Space mode is active.
- Check publication state, the Block private posts rule, and destination visibility.
- Review HumHub logs under the
cgy-sharecategory.
YCP tipSpecialized records such as Wiki pages, Events, Tasks, and Polls are not standard Post entries.
MISSION COMPLETE
Your Main Space can now gather posts from every enabled source.
New eligible profile and Space posts will be delivered automatically. Existing posts are not backfilled, and originals remain in their source locations.
